Day 23 = There's Something About Tuesdays :P

Calories Burned: 2809 Calories Consumed: 1204 For a difference of: 1605

Tuesday followed suit of the last few Tuesday :P NOT a good thing. Monday night Lianne found out that her mom had a stroke and had to fly away first thing Tuesday morning. I felt so so bad for her. I couldn't even imagine the stress! It was a shame too because she had done really well on Mondays stop sign hike and was on a bit of a high :( I was up late with her on Monday night and got up early with her to say goodbye on Tuesday. I was pretty pooped.

Breakfast was the parfait so I opted for toast and almonds again.

I decided to do the stop sign hike. It was all going fine (other than being tired) and then I started feeling light headed and dizzy. I got a bit nauseous and also felt some heartburn. I'm not too sure what was causing it. I was well hydrated and had taken electrolytes. To top it all off my whole entire right leg started to throb. The hip, quad, hamstring, calf, knee and ankle were would up so tightly and it was so painful. I ended up going to the mini stop sign and then back to the west canyon parking lo and said I was done. I tried to push through but it was making me feel worse. I had to wait 30 minutes for the van to come get me.

After the hike I was planning to go to my room and mope and sleep off whatever was bothering me. I realized I had stretch class and figured that it might help me with the leg pain so I went. It did seem to help a bit.

Lunch was turkey sandwich and tomato soup.. very tasty. I have already posted pictures of these a couple of weeks ago so I am not going to bother doing it again :) After I ate I felt even a little bit better.

After lunch we had a lecture on strategic planning for going home with. It was very informative. I am a list maker (LOVE making lists and own about a million notebooks LOL) and this class required making some lists! Woohoo!

I am completely burnt out on the cardio classes still so I asked if I could do another walk to fill in for the afternoon classes. Sharon said it was fine and I went on my way. Unfortunately because I was feeling better I had forgotten about my leg pain. I had walked over 2 miles from the resort when my leg locked up again. The pain was brutal. It took me forever to get back to the resort because I had to stop and stretch every 5 minutes. I had a chiro appointment booked for the evening to scrape my ankles (ill explain later) so I decided to tell him about my hip as well.

Dinner was enchiladas...MMMMM they were AMAZING! Dessert was banana ice cream (not so amazing)

My chiro appointment went well. I found out from a guest that the chiro has a method where they use a tool to scrape and rub over the injury (in this case my ankles) It breaks up the scar tissue and collegen. I wish I had known about this my first week because my ankles have been perfectly fine ever since! He checked my leg and said I had somehow twisted my pelvis which in turn was making my right leg slightly shorter than the left. This was causing me to walk funny which in turn seized everything up and caused the pain. He adjusted it in minutes and straightened me back out. AMAZING!

AFter I was adjusted I had a deep tissue massage to unlock all the leg muscled that had tensed up. It was funy because the therapist kept asking how the pressure was and I said it could be more. He eventually said that he was giving me everythign he had and most grown men would have jumped off the table by now.. I thought it felt great! LOL

I fell asleep really fast Tuesday night. I am definately missing Lianne! Its weird without her here! I hope she is ok.

I have to apologize because I have been slacking on taking meal pictures etc.. I keep forgetting to being my camera, and when I do bring it I am so hungry I eat the food then realize I didn't take a picture!

SO excited to go home!
