One Week Home- Before & After Pictures

I have been home for one week and I am very surprised how easy it has been. It feels so good to feel good! I have been eating really well. I did not go to the gym for the week because my son was on spring break and I wanted to spend time at home after not being here for a month.

I did go for a really good hike yesterday. It was very steep the entire way. It was like the steep part of the stop sign hike but for 4 straight km. I didn't go all the way to the end because it was close to sunset and it was a heavily wooded mountain trail. I am looking forward to trying it again when the is more time. Apparently there is an amazing view from the top. After doing the trail we headed to the river and walked it for quite a while. When we got to the end my boyfriend suggested running back. It was awesome! It felt so amazing. I didn't have to stop or slow down at all. I could have kept going when we got back to the car.

I am starting back at the gym tomorrow. I can go during the 3 hours that my son is in kindergarten. I am really looking forward to it! I took some "after" pictures to show the difference that I was able to make in 5 weeks. I have lot an additional 6 lbs since being home which puts my total weight loss at 27 lbs from my weigh in at FR. I have lost 30 lbs since I started blogging. It is beyond my expectations. I feel so good :) Its such a strange feeling LOL

(Before pictures for these photos were originally posted in the December 21 blog post)

I still have a ways to go before I am at my goal weight, but I am looking and feeling much better already. So exciting to fit into my smaller jeans. :)

Wow Brandi, I copied and pasted your before and after pictures beside each other and what a difference. You have to be so proud of all the hard work you have done. I'm going to send Jerica the pics, she will be so excited for you. This is her last week so she will kick serious butt, I know she has a trainer working with her 2 of the days. Thanks for being there for her. Keep on rolling, you will be at your goal weight in no time. Paulette

Wow! Congrats. You look amazing. I found your blog on the FR facebook page and I have been following your journey. Unfortunately I can't go to FR, but I have been doing it on my own. I have used your blog for motivation...when I don't feel like working out, I read your blog..and it works. I just took a week off due to my sister being in town and helping her move here...and sitting here on Monday morning after the time change and a super busy week, I am exhausted. I didn't feel like going to the gym. But after reading about your success, I am finishing my coffee and heading out. Keep up the great work, you are an inspiration!
